Re: Thanks to you and your staff

Dear Mr. Tiffin:

We have the pleasure of meeting you and members of your staff, including Dany Inman, at the Tiffin Rally at Lazy Days in Florida in November. We were there because we wanted to trade up from our Monaco Diplomat to your Phaeton. You and Danny both recommended Bankston in Huntsville as a dealer with whom to contact, and we did. In December, we ordered a 2010 Phaeton 36' through Bankston.

We just wanted to say thanks to you and Danny for steering us to Bankston, where we got by far the best arrangement for our Monaco trade and our purchase of the Phaeton. We had the pleasure of meeting with Mr. Harrison Bankston, and he too seemed most capable, sincere and appreciative of our business.

We plan to visit your factory in Red Bay in a few days while our coach is moving down the assembly line (hopefully some time in February).

PS We have been active RVers for some 25 years, and we have written several RV-related magazine articles and two books. Our new book VINTAGE RV & CAMPER POSTCARDS: THE HISTORY OF RVing BY MAIL will be published by Schiffer Publishing later in 2010. We have enclosed a complimentary copy for you of our 2008 book RV & CAMPER TOYS: THE HISTORY OF RVing IN MINIATURE. We hope that you take a short break from your busy schedule to look at it and that you enjoy it.

We wanted to take the opportunity to tell you how much we appreciate your assistance when we called with a problem with our RV on Thursday, Sept. 17th. We were in Auburn and could not find anyone to help or give us any information of who might could help us when the wheels of the RV locked up - Thank goodness, I always carry a Bankston card in my purse - We called about 4:00 and after a brief conversation, you came to the phone to talk with us. After we explained the problem you told us exactly what to check and if that was not the problem, who to call at Bankston in Montgomery. Never would we have known to check the reservoir under the RV behind the entrance steps - The fluid was very low - actually looked like it had been leaking - After adding transmission fluid as you instructed, we were back in business! Not only did you point us in the right direction, you saved us an expensive tow and saved our weekend!

Thank you for your help! You went beyond what we could have ever expected from another service dept. You represented Bankston with graciousness and we are truly indebted.

Again, thank you for your assistance!

Dear Mr. Bankston

Bill & I would like to thank you for the wonderful rally..it was so much fun. Your staff was congenial and very helpful.

The service techs came to our coach and rectified a problem (leak), we hope! We enjoyed the entertainment, Dutch Oven class, seminars and Pets in the Park was so much fun - Please tell Teresa thank you especially from Morgan.

We are looking forward to 2010!!
